Will there ever be an ER reboot?
“Never going to happen,” Noah Wyle, who played Dr. John Carter in the series, tells news.com.au, shaking his head.
The award-winning TV series spanned 15 years beginning in 1994 and ending in 2009. Wyle knows many viewers would be keen to check in with the staff of County General Hospital, 10 years on.
“As tempting as it is to go for that low-hanging fruit and say, ‘What would Dr. Carter be doing now? Did Dr. Ross (George Clooney) and Nurse Hathaway (Julianna Marguiles) stay together?’ There’s something sort of cheap about it, too.”

It would be wonderful having ER back! This is the first show I thought of when rebooting became a thing. I recently watched the complete series and I think it would be wonderful if the kids of the ER series came back as interns. Mark’s daughter, Carol’s twins, Sam’s son. Abby’s. Of course I would love to see Noah Wiley back running the whole hospital since he was always mine and many more’s favorite. Please reboot ER!

I LOVE this tv series!! The plots, although some deeply saddened me, the cast, I REALLY miss all of it! It was truly one of the best TV shows made! I really hope they bring it back; even if it’s only for a reunion show!! 🤞🏽
I just spent a few weeks solidly watching ER and no other programmes for the first time season 1 – 15 and WOW fantastic the best show going .
